Cricket is followed by millions around the world — and now Malaysian fans can enjoy the most complete cricket betting experience at rekor777. From the IPL to the Ashes and the T20 World Cup, it's all here with competitive odds and real-time live markets.
For years, cricket was seen as a sport far removed from mainstream Malaysian culture — more closely associated with India, Pakistan, England and Australia. The truth is, cricket has long had roots in Malaysia, particularly among Indian and Malay communities in Selangor, Perak and Penang. Malaysia's national cricket team even competes actively at the Asian level.
A big driver of cricket's growing popularity is the IPL — the Indian Premier League. With IPL live streams easily accessible across multiple platforms, cricket has become far more familiar and beloved in Malaysia. Many fans start by watching, then gradually understand the game, and eventually start betting — a journey that's become very common among new cricket fans here.
At rekor777, we spotted this trend early and have built the most comprehensive cricket section for Malaysian users. We cover all major formats — Test, ODI and T20 — across virtually every international series held throughout the year, plus full coverage of the IPL, Big Bash League and the world's top T20 tournaments.
From domestic leagues all the way to the international stage — rekor777 makes sure you never miss a match you want to bet on.

Cricket offers more betting markets than most other sports — use your knowledge to your advantage and go for bigger wins.
The most basic bet type — pick the team you think will win the full match. Available across all formats: T20, ODI, and Test.
Bet on who will be the highest run-scorer in a specific match or innings. This market often offers more attractive odds than the match winner.
Pick the bowler who will take the most wickets. Particularly useful when you follow specific bowlers' stats week to week.
Bet on whether the total runs scored in an innings or across the entire match will go over or under the line set by rekor777.
Odds move with every ball during a match. rekor777's cricket live markets are among the most active, with over 30 markets running simultaneously.
Bet on who will win the IPL, T20 World Cup, or any major tournament before it kicks off. High odds available on dark horse teams that could cause an upset.
The stronger team is given a negative handicap. When straight-win odds are too low to offer value, handicap markets give you a better return on your bet.
A straightforward market — bet on which team wins the coin toss before the match starts. Odds for each side are nearly even at 50:50.
Combine multiple matches or markets into a single ticket. Higher risk, but the returns multiply — perfect for those who back their predictions with confidence.
Knowing the current form and stats of key players is essential to making informed betting decisions. These are some of the players who most frequently influence betting outcomes on rekor777.

Cricket betting comes with unique challenges that set it apart from other sports — matches can run up to 5 days, weather can change everything, and the volume of statistics to factor in is far greater. That means the platform you use needs to be sophisticated enough to process all that information quickly and present it to you clearly.
Rekor777 is built with this in mind. Our cricket match pages display up-to-date head-to-head stats, venue performance records, current form across the last 5 matches, and odds updated every minute. Everything is available in Bahasa Melayu, so you can make confident decisions without having to decode unfamiliar terminology.
For live matches, especially IPL and T20 World Cup, rekor777 offers more than 30 simultaneous market types accessible while the ball is in play. These include specific markets such as "how many runs in the next over", "who will take the next wicket" and "will this batsman reach 50 runs" — the kind of markets not available on many other platforms.
On the payments front, rekor777 supports all the most popular local methods — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay and FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks. No international credit card required, no currency exchange hassle. You deposit in MYR, win in MYR and withdraw in MYR — straightforward and transparent.
During IPL and T20 World Cup, rekor777 opens more than 30 in-play market types simultaneously — from match winner to next-ball markets.

Cricket has many variables that can influence the outcome — use these tips to sharpen your analysis on rekor777.
Grassy pitches help pace bowlers. Dry pitches suit spinners. High humidity affects ball movement. These conditions often matter more than a team's form on paper.
The absence of one key player can shift the entire team balance. Always check the official playing XI, which is typically announced 30–45 minutes before the match starts.
Every ground has its own character. Wankhede (Mumbai) is known for high scores. Eden Gardens (Kolkata) tends to favour the home side. Past match records at the same venue are invaluable.
When the batting side gets off to a rough start, their odds shift significantly. If you believe they can turn it around, the live market offers far better value than pre-match odds.
Some teams are psychologically weaker against certain opponents regardless of their ranking. India vs Pakistan, for instance, always carries its own unique dynamic that goes well beyond the statistics.
India is the most popular team to bet on in Malaysian cricket circles. But that means their odds are often lower than their true value. Consider dark horses, which frequently offer better value odds.
Cricket takes place almost every day of the year — which can tempt you into betting too often. Set a weekly limit on rekor777 and stick to it without exception for the sake of your financial wellbeing.
